They are soft, permanently tacky adhesives, which exhibit a balance of green strength and cohesive strength. Just like hot melt adhesives they become low viscosity fluids at elevated temperatures when they can be applied .the difference however is that, HMPSA remains sticky on the surface of a product after the adhesive has cooled down, whereas a normal Hma becomes non sticky once it cools down.
